Question: I can’t find my Game Piece Code – where is it?
Answer: Firstly, make sure you are looking at the right Game Piece – they must either make up a complete series of 2, 3 or 4 different Properties from the same Property Set, or it must be Game Piece code for an Instant Win prize. The Game Piece Code of 8 characters can be found at the bottom of each Instant Win or Collect to Win Game Piece.
Question: The code I entered is not registering
Answer: If the Code is not registering it is possible you are entering the wrong Game Piece Code. Please make sure you are entering the correct 8 character-long Game Piece Code or contact us via the MONOPOLY game at McDonald’s Customer Service, by completing the form below.
Question: Is there an age restriction for claiming prizes?
Answer: You must be aged 16 or over and a Republic of Ireland resident to participate in the MONOPOLY Game at McDonalds and must not be directly associated with McDonald’s or the relevant Charity connected with the Promotion or indirectly associated through a company assisting McDonald’s with the promotion, or indirectly associated through a family or household member. Please note some prizes require a Parent/Legal Guardian to claim on your behalf if you are under 18 and are limited to 1 per person or household - see the Promotion Rules for further details at
Question: I’ve lost my internet connection whilst entering my details, what do I do?
Answer: If you lose your internet connection before completing the Claim Form you will need to re-enter your Game Piece Code in the required fields at the URL printed on your Game Piece.
Question: I have not received my email confirmation
Answer: If you have not received your email confirmation in your Inbox, please check your junk mail folder.
Question: What if I do not have access to a printer?
Answer: You can continue without printing as the Claim Confirmation is also emailed to you.
Question: I cannot read the CAPTCHA code. What should I do?
Answer: On the home page, you are able to request a new CAPTCHA code by clicking on: “RECAPTCHA”.
Question: I don’t have a valid email address
Answer: All entrants must have a valid email address in order to redeem their prize. Register at any email account provider in order to obtain a valid email address to redeem your prize. Once you have created your email address, return to the URL printed on your Game Piece to claim your prize. You will need to use the same email address for all claims.
Question: Do I need to keep my Game Piece(s)?
Answer: You must retain your Game Piece(s) whatever the type of prize you have won, both before and for a reasonable time after your prize has been awarded. The Promoter and / or Prize Partner may require you to send in your Game Piece(s) for verification purposes. You must also keep the Game Piece Code confidential. Please take care not to damage your game piece – it will become void for all purposes if you do.
Question: Is there a deadline to claim prizes?
Answer: Yes, you must complete your claim at a the URL provided on your winning Game Piece by 28th May 2019, failure to do so by this date will cause your prize claim to lapse and the corresponding prize-claim Game Piece to become void.
Question: How long will it take to verify my prize claim?
Answer: Except for the prize-types stated below, once a claim has been received and verified, the Prize will be sent to the address for the winner provided at the time of entry. This will be within 30 days of receipt of claim, subject to satisfactory verification.
For the €10k cash, €5k cash or Holiday, you will be sent a letter enclosing a pre-paid reply envelope and a declaration form which you will then be required to complete and return together with your claim-Game Piece(s) to the Redemption Centre, to arrive by no later than 14th June 2019.

Question: Can you substitute or transfer a prize?
Answer: Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No cash alternative or substitution of any prize will be provided except if the Partner, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize cannot be awarded as described due to unavailability for any reason. Question: Why am I getting a JavaScript Error when I am trying to redeem my prize?
Answer: To redeem your prize, your JavaScript and cookies must be enabled on your computer. To enable, follow the directions below:

Internet Explorer:

Click Tools

Choose Internet Options

Click the "Security" tab

Click on Internet

De-select Enable Protected Mode

Click on default Level

Set to Medium-high

Click the Ok button


Click Tools

Choose Options

Click the “Content” tab

Click the check box for Enable JavaScript


Open the Tools drop down menu found at the top of the screen

Click “Preferences” from the “Safari” pull down menu

The “Preferences” dialogue box will be open. Select the “Security” tab

From the “Security” screen under “Web content” make sure that “Enable Java” and “Enable JavaScript” is checked Close the “Preferences” dialogue box by clicking the red “X” button top left corner

Google Chrome:

Select Customize and control Google Chrome (the icon with 3 stacked horizontal lines) to the right of the address bar

From the drop-down menu, select Settings

At the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings...

Under Privacy, select the Content settings...

Finally, under the JavaScript heading, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript radio button
